Operational Research Society of India, Bhubaneswar, Odisha

The Operational Research Society of India (ORSI), founded in 1957, is a representative of the International Federation of Operational Research Societies (IFORS) in India. It publishes high quality journal, OPSEARCH. ORSI has seventeen chapters all over the country.

The Bhubaneswar (Odisha) Chapter of the ORSI is the most vibrant chapter in India. It conducted its 26th and 48th ORSI Annual Conventions at Utkal and SOA Universities, respectively, attended by many delegates from India and abroad. It has organized successful conferences at PMEC, CUTM, KIIT, BIITM and Ravenshaw University in the past.
